Who is Harold Ogunfemi
Harold Ogunfemi is a family man, passionate about life and people's everyday happiness. I am an athlete who participated at the British league up until 1995 with a personal best time of 10.70s at the 100M before moving into full time employment.
I have, at different times worked at KFC, Safeway, Tesco, Lidl and even National Blood Service before moving into my passion of becoming an Entrepreneur. With my background qualification of BA (Hons) Business Studies and CIM, I have established and still running businesses employing people in diverse fields such as Retail & Wholesale, social housing, manufacturing & service industry.
I ventured into politics in 2011 because of the gap that I saw when it comes to representation of people within the decision making arms of the government. I believe that my constituent will be better served by my participation and representation. I have been the councillor since 2011 representing the Isle of Grain Parish Council. I love community charity works, meeting people, socialising, cooking, listening to music and dancing.
Faith
Family
My strength comes from the solid support I get from my Family. I am a deeply Family oriented person and this is the main pillar that keeps me standing. I am accountable to them on a daily basis and I strive to be the role model thay’ll be proud to associate with, emulate and follow. When the Family structures are stable, the community becomes better.
Community
One of my main aim in life is to be able to give back to my community every day. This I believe helps foster Love, Inter-connectivity and better relationship. I know when the importance of a community is well established and looked after, life becomes safer, better, more vibrant and productive for all.
“…I see what others don’t see because I sit on the shoulders of Giants”

I am a member of the general purpose committee within the parish which looks into several areas including but not limited to planning, roads & highways, parks & green spaces, wildlife and amenities just to mention a few. My aim is to give back to the community, be part of the development and decision making as well as do the best that I can for the community that myself and my family grow up in.
